[mythtv-users] Verdict on core duo for HD?

My mac mini duo core will play 720p in mythtv just fine.  1080i works for most 
stations, but one of the stations around here with a pretty high bitrate 
stutters about .5s out of every 3s - the motion will look fluid for 2.5s, then 
for .5s it will appear to play at half framerate.

This is using mythtv under Mac OS X Intel.  I have done nothing with Linux 
running natively on the machine.

All the streams I have captured, even the ones that stutter in mythtv, will 
play flawlessly in VLC under Mac OS X.
