The audio volume differences between different PVR-xx0 cards has been
discussed on the ivtv lists, so I'm pretty confident it's not the same
issue - only the msp3400 module has made it into the kernel, not the
rest of ivtv as I understand it - although it's quite possible that
some of the other supporting modules are there as well (the msp3400
issue was the one I'd seen special mention). Once ivtv makes it in it
will clean things up a lot.
