[mythtv-users] Size of OSD varies with video size - Changed somewhere between r9805 and r9886

I just upgraded to SVN r9886 today (yes, it's old, but
it's the source I had on my hard drive - forgot to do
an update), and I noticed that the OSD behavior has
changed.

I run a display at 1280x720 (720p) and have both
analog (PVR-x50/500) and digital (FusionHDTV5 Lite)
cards. My previous version was SVN r9805, which was
working fine.

I've noticed now that the OSD changes its size
depending on the size of the content I'm watching.
16:9 content shows the OSD in full-screen (1280x720),
but if I switch to 4:3 content (either digital or
analog), the OSD is squashed into TV viewing area
(whereas before it would still display at 1280x720, on
top of the side borders).

This happens with Xv and XvMC, and it happens with two
different OSDs that I tested (Isthmus, not included in
MythTV, and Titivillus, included in MythTV). I'll
note that I'm using the Chromakey OSD.

Looking through the commits logs, I didn't see any
commit descriptions that might directly cause this.

Is anybody else seeing this as well?
