i've also used this a few weeks ago, but the white color flickers verry 
bad...

but i try again with your modeline, maybe it's better...

the soldering isn't too bad. I cut of the vga cable of an old screen I
had laying around, striped one side of the cable and solderd this to the
scart connector. Took me 20 minutes max. (not including the time to find
that soldering iron in the basement, that took longer :-)
I didn't do the audio bit as I have the sound connected to an external
amplifier.
