	Signal quality is VERY important. If you feed any PVR a TV
single that's noisy that noise will get amplified by the compression
process regardless of what compression level you use. That's the
primary reason I went to digital TV for my Tivos. Digital tends to 
yield you a much cleaner signal than analog. 

	Any meaningful comparisons need to be done based on the same 
source signal.
