What cables are you using?

Add "debug" to the commandline, that should give you some more
debugging information. It may or may not help, but it's worth a shot.
If that doesn't work, let me know, and I'll see if maybe I updated the
script and didn't post it.

You should also try fiddling with some other settings. Com port speed,
handshaking, etc. All of those are helpful.
