I've tried this device myself.  Although it *should* work, I've got a
problem that it can't attach a DVB frontend.  You can see my earlier posts

I've also just replied to a posting (
http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2006-May/010571.html) where
someone else is experiencing exactly the same problem.

I don't know what the cause of the problem is - but I'm guessing that it's
good ol' Hauppauge changing the specs again.
