[mythtv-users] Fedora 5 rc.sysinit patching

I was installing a test install of fedora 5 using jarods fedora 4 
guide...just to see what would happen..

When i got to the part about patching the rc.sysinit file. I couldnt, it 
kept failing.

Do i need to still patch it under fedora 5. 

or is there another work around to resolve the issue he talks about.

Any running fedora 5 that would know?
