Probably not bad, but the reliability on Dell laptops is nothing to
write home about.  Where I used to work we had a couple of Latitudes
that went through two CPU fans each before the warranty had even
expired.  They also ate batteries (wouldn't hold a charge after a year
or two) and tended to develop bad connections in the keyboard.  This and
other bad experiences have caused me to kind of steer people away from
Dell laptops.  If you happen to get a "good" example it can be all
right, though; the quality control just seems to be highly variable.
  It also helps if you don't actually pick the laptop up and try to
carry it anywhere -- that seems to be what causes the intermittent
connections to develop.
