[mythtv-users] MythVideo File type for DVD rip

I have turned off scanning/displaying Unknown file types in my MythVideo settings, but 
would like to confirm which file type I should create for DVD rips is it .IFO or .VOB or both.
I know the VOB files are the main video content but these usually are title base ie not 
the whole movie . I think the .IFO is a index file which binds these together.
Does the Internal player understand this file type?
