I am able to tune all of those channels using the HDHR and VLC.

The problem channels are 4-1 and 7-1. Turns out both of those
channels are on QAM "channel" 113. If I use VLC to watch a stream
from the HDHR, after tuning it to qam256:113, VLC will happily shows
me what it sees as "programs" 1 and 7.

Any other idea?

Thanks,

John
