[mythtv-users] SIS drivers?

I'm considering moving my system in to "production" (which means that it
will move from my bedroom, where I have been testing it, to either the
family room or the basement where it will be used by everyone else in
the house), and I am curious about the SIS drivers for the onboard video.

I'm currently using the nVidia 6200 card in order to display S-Video to
the television, but the television in our family room has VGA in.  With
that, I could use the onboard video and drop using the nVidia card
(which periodically causes me problems by locking up X on me).

With all of that said, I have seen some (dated) references to
http://www.winischhofer.net/ for the fully accelerated drivers.  Is it
still necessary to use his driver?
