You might look in to using the sa3250ch.c that should be in the myth source
files. It was what I originally used to change channels before I found out
that changing channels was built internally. Compile it, instructions in the
top of the file, then put it as the channel changer for the pvr250. You may
have to hardcode the firewire nodes but with just a small amount of hacking
I bet you could get it to work.
