[mythtv-users] OSD rendering question

I am using Asterisk as a home pbx, and have it set up to use mythtvosd to 
broadcast Caller ID information. Yesterday I found a popup in a recorded 
program, displaying CID info for a call received at the time the show 
recorded.

That is clearly not what I want.

Actually, I have never seen the OSD coming up when I watch a recording.

So what exactly is the OSD rendering policy? Should it com up always, only on 
live tv...?

Having it rendered on the BE to be recorded is simply silly.
