[mythtv-users] New Debian Install

Hi,

New to myth tv,
Dell E510 P4 3.2G
hauppauge PVR500  
creative Audigy 2 sound
nvidea geforce7300LE video
1 GB Memory
MS Remote with RC6 on back

I am currently running KDE on Debian Sid and have downloaded from 
Debian-Multimedia.org the required packages. I believe? I have compiled 
them as they show up in my home directory.

My question is, Should I dump KDE? How do I start MythTV ?

This is what shows up in my home directory:
