I've added a "General Requirements" section to the above site, though
frankly i've no idea what it really needs. Deffinately xvid for XviD stuff,
but i've got so much other stuff installed already i've never really had to
bother about it. I'm guessing you'd need the transcoder (transcode or
ffmpeg, and i believe both will require mplayer be installed) and the codec
software (xvid, h264, something like that) to transcode stuff to a given
format, but no doubt there's loads of other stuff they'll ask for when
installing, most of which you may already have. Chris (dev) should know, if
he's around...
