I don't see in the article you referenced anything about assigning a
preferred tuner for a specific channel. Since I have 2 identical card
using the same lineup, assigning a channel priority doesn't really do
anything in term of getting it to prefer to record from one card or
the other. If I am missing it, can you please elaborate because the
article you quoted (twice in 24 hours) seems to talk about preferring
one version of a network over the other (std vs HD).

To answer Tom's probe, both cards are the same, Haupage 150s, now I
guess they've been made using different chip sets at different time so
I can't guarantee that are completely the same, but I did buy them
both from the same place within a month of each other.
