Hmm.. All sounds promising.

At the moment I've got one user who has a special keyboard setup for his
PC that he'd like to use to control the frontend remotely. Hence looking
initially at mythwifi but it doesn't like Myth 0.20.

Any pointers at web addons to the telnet protocol?

The other options for alternative touchscreen or pointer devices might be
useful in the future, but I have a tight timeframe on this particular
setup.
