[mythtv-users] backend monitoring scripts?

This one doesn't require config at all. Just run it on a cron.

mythtv at myth:/home/mythtv/bin> cat check_backend
#!/bin/sh

if ! lynx -dump http://localhost:6544/ | grep -q Schedule ; 
then
 echo "############## `date` ###############"
 echo "Backend is wedged. Here is output:"
 lynx -dump http://localhost:6544/
 echo
 echo "Restarting backend."
 killall mythbackend
 echo "####################################################"
fi
