You're going to need a lot more storage. My SDTV system is using a
250 GB disk right now, and that can old around 100 hours, give or
take. HDTV consumes around 8-9 GB per hour (or so I hear). That means
that's a ten hour storage drive.

If you're doing HDTV, I'm wondering about your video output. So far,
you haven't mentioned anything. And at $550, I doubt that thing has
an nVidia card in it. If you have some PCI slots (Not PCIe), just get
an nVidia GeForce FX5200.
