[mythtv-users] How will changing from 480x480 to 720x480 affect me?

Interesting this should come up, I was testing and playing around the other
night.
I run my TV at 640x480, so I had my PVR-150 recording at 640x480. To me the
picture looked blury (6000-10000 bitrate). So, I decided, what the hell,
and put it to 720x480. To me the picture is crisper and less blurry.
Is there any real explination for this, or am I just mental?
I am using XvMC on an NVidia card for output.
