Hi,
this is the second time I've needed to reinstall my system and move the
database over (this time from a .19.1 system to 0.20). I follow the
instructions at
http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-23.html#ss23.7

When I restart mythfrontend it only finds a couple of the previous recordings.
These happen to be the films rather than the series, but I don't know whether
that is a coincidence.

I first thought it might be that the database was difficult to read because
the program descrptions had odd characters and " etc. in so I cleaned it up
and an entry is pasted below. But still I have no success. Can anyone
advsie on what I could try?

(If i could play the nuv files easily with another application that would be
OK too, as there are not to many to catch up, but mplayer just comes up with
a green screen although the sound is correct)
