[mythtv-users] protocol version mismatch, what's the best solution?

because she will need to subscribe to and read the -dev and -commits 
list.  If someone decides to run SVN trunk and doesn't keep up with the 
aforementioned lists, he will waste a lot of other people's time with 
questions that had already been answered by -commits/-dev messages.

So, if you don't plan to modify your own personal version of Myth, you 
can use the released/-fixes SVN version from your packager without 
having to deal with all those issues and the commitment involved with 
keeping up with the lists (since your packager will keep up with the 
issues related to the version of Myth being distributed).  (Which is why 
you should always thank your packager for all the work that went into 
keeping your packages working and up to date.  When is National Packager 
Day, anyway?)
