[mythtv-users] Possible to run this setup?

Hello,

I'm currently planning some change in my systems. I'm wondering if an  
AMD Athlon XP 1800+ with 512 MB RAM will suffice for playing back  
1080i content? Also, I'm not sure about the fact that you cannot run  
PiP with Xvmc, as stated in the wiki. Can I run mythtv without Xvmc  
(because I only have SDTV) and mplayer or vlc or xine with Xvmc  
enabled so that I could get PiP in Mythtv?
