[mythtv-users] DMA Problems?...

Hey all... I'm seeing some weird problems with MythTV .20, ivtv 0.7.0 and
2.6.17 ... Gentoo 2006.1  I was recording two programs at once... and
watching a DVD at the same time... once the DVD was done playing... I went
to watch the recorded shows... and apparently... the backend wasn't
responding anymore.... I restarted it... and went to watch LiveTV... as a
test... and the compy just locked up... the last entries in
/var/log/messages are as follows:

Oct  4 23:00:37 mythtv ivtv0 warning: ENC: DMA still Pending while stopping
capture!
Oct  4 23:02:25 mythtv ivtv0 warning: ENC: DMA still Pending while stopping
capture!

Ok... so I bring the compy back up... and I see the recordings... and find
that one of the shows that was being recorded... that started at 21:00 ...
had only just under 10 minutes recorded... so... lo and behold... in
/var/log/messages... I see the following.

Oct  4 21:09:33 mythtv ivtv0 warning: ENC: (0) DMA Error 0x0000000b
Oct  4 21:09:38 mythtv ivtv0 warning: ENC: REG_DMAXFER 2 wait failed
Oct  4 21:09:42 mythtv ivtv0 warning: ENC: DMA still Pending while stopping
capture!

So.... I'm sure folks have seen this.... what's the skinny, eh?
