[mythtv-users] Are PVR-500's safe to buy new right now?

For me, I am using ivtv-0.8.0 and a 2.6.18 kernel and this fix made both
tuners have a substandard picture instead of just the second tuner. When I
get a free moment I am going to have to patch my kernel because I would
rather have one good picture on one tuner than  two equaly distorted
pictures. And I have a samsung tuner and a quality cable amp that feeds the
whole house.
