Wow, thanks for such a detailed reply! I'll do what you suggested
tonight. As for TiVo, it has three fast forward and rewind speeds. You
press a forward or rewind button repeatedly and it cycles between them.
I was wondering if there was a way to match those speeds in mythtv
exactly. But it's not such a big deal. It already kind of works that
way, except using my remote and the lircrc I downloaded, the speed goes
way up there and doesn't "cycle". But again, that's not a
problem. Maybe even an advantage :)
