Thanks for the response, I am able to get the module auto loaded
(running Gentoo relatively up to date) but the card itself seems to
not want to tune anything.  The signal strength is about as good as it
gets (line of site, within a few miles of the towers, antenna pointing
directly at the towers, signal registers at 98-100% on most guages).
And, as noted earlier, other HD cards have no problem using the
antenna/signal.

Could this be conflicting modules?
