I highly recommend the Antec Fusion. It is very well designed. The 2
120mm fans are very quiet and move a lot of air. I built a myth box
about a month ago with this case and I am completely happy with it. I
use it as my frontend and backend and I have no problems recording 2 HD
streams and watching a 3rd. The CPU stays pretty cool with all the fans
at their slowest speed. The LCD Display on the case is a nice bonus too.
Here is the machine I built, all bought from Newegg except the Zalman
- Antec Fusion Case
- Motherboard: ASUS A8N-VM CSM
- CPU: AMD X2 4400+ w/ Zalman CNPS8000 Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler
- RAM: 1GB, CORSAIR D400 VS1GBKIT400
- Hard Drive: 400GB Seagate SATA, ST3400620AS
- 2 Avermedia A180 tuner cards
- SATA DVD ROM Drive.
All in all it cost about $1000 and I am enjoying every penny of it.
