I was wondering if anyone is using MythTV to capture the BBC's HD
programmes on Freeview in London?
I have an EPIA M10000 with a Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-T usb2, running a
recent SVN build. The DVB scan finds the BBC HD channel and
scheduling a recording appears to work in that recording starts and
stops at the right times, with no obvious errors. There's even some
good stuff in the backend log like:
<snip>

Stream #1 pid(0x5e1) type(private-data 0x6)

<snip>
However, I end up with a zero-byte file :-(
I realise I won't be able to watch the recordings with the hardware
I've got, but I think I've worked out how to transcode from H264 into
MPEG2. Then I was going to playback on my Dad's HDTV using a windows
box to see how it looks, before I decide whether to invest in my own
hardware.
Any tips greatly appreciated.
