I've had great luck with the Antec TruePower line, they're not the
quitest, but they are pretty darn quiet. The Seasonics are great too,
though a bit pricier, they do seem to make less noise which would make
them good for frontends.

Also, I've currently got a Norco server case for my backend, it has a
6 drive bay for harddrives plus room for 3x5.25 and a
floppy/harddrive. The 6 drive bay has two big fans for cooling the
drives which is nice. Its a well built case and well designed. Best of
all its relatively cheap.
