I definitely don't want on that is too noisy.  Not sure about DVD-RAM. I
don't even know what that is.

I'll have to look into that too.  I want inexpensive long lasting media that
will play in a consumer DVD player..

Not interested in Lightscribe ... Seems like a waste of money.  Although
I've heard that the adhesive in Avery labels contribute to the degradation
of the media
