Hopefully someone can help. I've upgraded(?) the sound card in my PC to an
audigy SE from a first-gen SB Live.
I'm having problems getting any sound out of the thing. I've checked all the
usual sites, mythtv wiki, knoppmyth wiki, google, etc. I've upgraded alsa to
1.0.13rc3, and get different options in alsamixer now. /proc/asound/pcm
looks as it should, etc.
I'm trying to output analogue 2-channel stereo to my TV, no fancy digital
(yet) All the settings in alsamixer appear to be set correctly. Spdif is
off, all the analogue channels are up to 100%.
The error I'm getting now is NVP::AddAudioData():p1: Audio Buffer Overflow,
Audio Data Lost! and no sound out of myth. Any ideas?
Also, for the future, does anybody know if it is possible to push both
analogue and digital out of myth, ie to have analogue into the TV for Sd
recordings, and digital into the amp for movies etc, or do I need to change
options to switch outputs, and can that be scripted.
Thanks
Gary
