Myth (rightfully) won't let you put in a sufficiently large bitrate to 
capture (MythTV- or PVR-encoded) video at 10GB/30min (44444.44kbps = 
44.44Mbps), as that high a bitrate is never necessary for SDTV.  It's 
definitely your transcode settings.
