on a more serious note, and one that would come in handy for HDTV
people, is the ability to select different deinterlace schemes based
on the resolution as well. I find that for 1080i stations my tv is
able to properly deinterlace the output from MythTV, but for 480i
recordings it can't. It would be nice if I could tell myth to only run
Kernel for 480i content.
