[mythtv-users] how to set autotrans on by default?

I recently upgraded from .18 to .19 (yeah, I'm a bit slow), and here's an
odd change I can't figure out:

Lately I've been baffled that -only- the movies I've been recording have
been ending up at huge sizes like 8GB (mpeg2 from PVR500, I record at high
rate but always transcode).  I can see in the job queue that they are being
commercial flagged but not transcoded.  I finally found that in the
recording schedule for these shows it does say "do not transcode new
recordings".  Other things like episodic TV say "transcode new recordings".

What sets the above field to be "don't transcode" for movies and "transcode"
for other things, and how can I set the above field to be "transcode" for
all new entries by default?  I ususally grab movies off the upcoming movie
list using "record one showing of this title" and I'd prefer not to have to
manually change this on everything I schedule.
