Thanks for the heads up. Wasn't aware of that with LVM, but it makes
sense since my setup would essentially be a striped volume with no
parity. I would be a little worried about losing recordings before I
backed them up/archived them. Would a RAID1 array (2 80GB IDEs) as the
recording space, and the 500GB external and 80GB SATA for storage as
seperate volumes (ie not using LVM) maybe be a safer way to go about it?
