I'm using:
yum list | grep -i samba
samba.x86_64                             3.0.23a-1.fc5.1        installed
samba-client.x86_64                      3.0.23a-1.fc5.1        installed
samba-common.x86_64                      3.0.23a-1.fc5.1        installed
without any problems.
