[mythtv-users] Alsa streams

With VLC ( currently my preferred HDTV viewer ) I can select
different alsa audio strems on a mythtv HD recorded show.
I can pico stero or 5.1 surround sound if the HD show has
that stream.

When I play a show using the mythfrontend, I have ALSA:default
set up and I hear the sound, but I can't switch to the 5.1 surround
sound stream. The '+' key is supposed to switch audio streams,
but it has no effect.

Do I need to set up something else... this works with VLC so I
know that my alsa stuff and soundcard / speakers are set up
correctly.
