[mythtv-users] MythDVD transcode deletes my files

I am trying to get 0.20 up and running as a DVD movie server only. (for the
moment) If I rip a DVD as an ISO it works or if I rip it as "Perfect" it
works. However, when I try and rip as "Excellent" phase 1 transcode works,
but phase 2 ends instantly and and deletes my file from the temp directory.
When I check the mtd.log it says that the transcode completed successfully.

I followed the instructions in the wiki, and I have a /video jfs filesystem
that is 550GB. I changed the settings under dvd rip and set the dvd
temporary directory to /video/dvdtemp and I set the location for stored DVDs
to /video/Movies/dvd. Everything under /video is owned by mythtv:mythtv
including the mount point. I noticed that mtd was creating files as root, so
I either 1) let mythtv start the daemon when I try and do a rip by pressing
"0" -or- 2) I start the mtd in daemon mode as the mythtv user.

The only search hits I have found on this problem relate to not being able
to write to the directory. All of these directories are writable by mythtv
user. I have manually touched files in each of these directories. Is there
another temporary directory someplace that I need to move under /video? Do I
have some other configuration issue?

Thanks in advance for your help, and please let me know if you need any
config files or anything.
