I have two Via boards, a newer EN12000EG (fanless Eden chip) and an
older MII10000.  I have ended up going with the MII10000 for my myth box
because openchrome support for the newer board (CN700 chipset) is not
good right now.  TV-Out only works with VBE (video bios) modes.  This
means that you cannot tweak the settings at all, so no overscan (which I
need for myth).  Support for the MII10000 is much better since it has
been around much longer.  The menus and such are much more responsive on
the MII10000.  The fan is a little loud, but I will work on that.  This
is just my experience.  I hope it helps a little.
