I have run into a problem with mythreplex that causes a
segmentation fault to occur. I would have debugged the
problem myself and attempted a patch, but I get different
behavior depending on whether the --compile-type=debug
flag is passed to configure. Of course the segmentation
fault only occurs when --compile-type is absent.

When I am running configure with --compile-type=debug this
is how I configure:

CFLAGS="-fPIC -DPIC" ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-lirc
- --enable-audio-alsa \
        --enable-dvb --enable-audio-oss --enable-audio-jack
- --enable-audio-arts \
        --enable-opengl-vsync --enable-dvb --dvb-path=/usr/include
- --enable-ivtv \
        --enable-firewire --enable-joystick-menu --enable-proc-opt
- --compile-type=debug \
        --tune=i486 --enable-xvmc --enable-xvmc-vld --enable-xvmc-pro
- --enable-mmx

When I don't include --compile-type=debug this is the configure line:
CFLAGS="-fPIC -DPIC" ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-lirc
- --enable-audio-alsa \
        --enable-dvb --enable-audio-oss --enable-audio-jack
- --enable-audio-arts \
        --enable-opengl-vsync --enable-dvb --dvb-path=/usr/include
- --enable-ivtv \
        --enable-firewire --enable-joystick-menu --enable-proc-opt
- --tune=i486 \
        --enable-xvmc --enable-xvmc-vld --enable-xvmc-pro --enable-mmx

The command line that works in debug mode but not when --compile-type
is not specified is:
mythreplex --demux  --fix_sync -o /myth/mythburn/temp//work/1/stream \
    -v 224 -a 192 "/myth/mythburn/temp//work/1/tmp"

What additional information should I include in a bug report.
