Not with Myth.  Myth only supports QT3 (and won't compile with QT4).  
(So, you've got QT4 /and/ QT3 on your system.

N/A, but whether Gentoo has a patch for QT 3.3.8 (and they're most 
likely using that version), I'll leave to a Gentoo user to find out.
