Crhis I'm also trying to do the same with a 32" Samsung LCD (LE32R73BD) but
I had no luck :-( nvidia driver doesn't accept any mode I try, could you
please send me which options are you using? (xorg.conf, etc...)

I'd like to try myself and I'll tell you how it goes.
