[mythtv-users] software raid 5 xfs

I've been using software raid 5 in linux for years, but now I'm
considering setting up a raid 5 array for my recordings. I have a central
backend with 3 pvr 150s and 2 frontends connected to it. So I'm only
dealing with SD content. Anyone have any real life experience with
software raid 5 for recording? The wiki says results are mixed, but I'd
like to hear from someone thats personally tried it, before I start buying
more drives and rearranging things.
