In my case, the problem seemed to have been related to the video4linux
package. I do not use ALSA sound and I didn't have "set video as
timebase" installed. Look for my previous posts about "Fedora Core 6
recordings play too fast". It took me a while to figure out.
Apparently there could be several causes.
