I am brand new to MythTv, so I am sure that I'm doing something really
dumb, but I am having issues getting live tv playback to work from
mythfrontend. I'm on my second full rebuild on ppc, the first was
using xubuntu 7.0.4, which worked flawlessly except for lirc, so I
know this CAN work. I have now rebuilt my system with FC8 for ppc,
everything seems to have set up correctly, but when I try to view live
tv, here's my output from running mythfrontend in verbose:

Seems like either it is having issues opening a socket on the remove
file, or the mythbackend somehow is returning the wrong host / port. I
am not sure how that really is supposed to be working, but does anyone
have any insight? Thanks!
