[mythtv-users] fast foward saturates cpu

I'm running frontend and backend on a 2GHZ Intel core 2 duo, with Ubuntu 
Gutsy. The graphics use the Intel 945.

When I play an HD recording, mythfrontend usea about 30% of one core. At 
3X fast forward its up above 90%. At 5X it breaks up and freezes after a 
few seconds.

On SD there is no problem with fast forward, and other than 5x and 
higher ff on HD, its working fine.

I'm running the trunk,

Any ideas why its burning so much cpu in fast forward?
