[mythtv-users] hauppauge pvr 350 shows black & white (grey) output only

Even though you neglected to tell us I'm 100% certain you are in PAL land.
You are probaly running the pvr-350 in NTSC mode.  My advice get a TV with a
real s-video input not that French SCART crap.
