You know what's funny... thats the same exact main board I run for my 
back end system... this front end box is an older "slim" Dell OptiPlex 
and I don't have the same luxury as on-board optical out as the back 
end. I guess if I didn't mind the noise I could drag the back end into 
this room. :-) At this point I'm willing to do almost anything to get 
this thing working the way I want.
